ABPP Credential

Dr. Jeanne Jakob became a board-certified psychologist (cognitive and behavioral specialization) in 2013. Board certification includes a review of candidates’ qualifications by a group of seasoned, board-certified psychologists. The application includes:

  • Essays & review of credential
  • Videotaped sample of a therapy session
  • Oral exam

Approximately 5% of psychologists in the US are board-certified.

Continuing Education

In the State of California, psychologists are required to obtain 36 hours of continuing education every two years for licensure. Below is a sample of the relevant and recent training completed by Dr. Jakob.
